1. Purpose

These terms of use govern access to and use of the ProtectMyId platform, a service for reporting stolen identity documents and verification for professional organizations.

2. Registration

Using ProtectMyId requires creating an account. By registering, you certify that:

• You are of legal age or authorized by a legal representative
• The information provided is accurate and truthful
• You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials

3. Services for individuals

Individuals can use ProtectMyId for free to:

• Report one or more stolen identity documents
• Provide the required supporting document (filing receipt)
• Track the status of their declarations

4. Services for organizations

Professional organizations can, after KYC validation, use ProtectMyId to:

• Check if an identity document has been reported stolen
• Access a history of their searches
• Integrate verification via REST API

ProtectMyId makes every effort to ensure the reliability and security of the service. However, ProtectMyId cannot guarantee the absence of errors and shall not be held liable for indirect damages resulting from use of the service. Verification performed by organizations is a decision-support tool and does not replace each organization's internal verification procedures. No decision producing effects concerning a person may be based solely on the result provided by ProtectMyId. The organization remains responsible for its own controls and for the accuracy of the data it processes.

8. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, logos, and graphic elements of ProtectMyId are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, without prior authorization is prohibited.

9. Termination

Any user can delete their account at any time from their profile. ProtectMyId reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these terms, false declaration, or abusive use of the service.

10. Personal data protection

ProtectMyId collects and processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information on the collection, use and protection of your data, please consult our privacy policy.

11. Service availability

ProtectMyId strives to keep the service accessible 24/7. However, the service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates or force majeure. ProtectMyId shall not be held liable for service interruptions and does not guarantee error-free operation.

12. Changes to the terms

ProtectMyId reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes by email or notification on the platform. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
