Share a secret, leave no trace.
A one-time link that self-destructs. The secret is encrypted in your browser: neither our servers nor ProtectMyId® can ever see its content.
Free. The recipient opens the link without an account.
How it works
Encrypted in the browser
You type your secret: it is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) on your device before anything is sent. The key stays in the link, never on our servers.
One-time link
You share the link over the channel of your choice. The recipient reveals it once, with no account needed.
Self-destruct
After reading, or on expiry (1h, 24h, 7d), the secret is permanently destroyed. Unrecoverable, even by us.
We see nothing. By design.
Zero-knowledge is not a marketing promise: the key that decrypts the secret travels in the URL fragment (after the “#”), which your browser never sends to the server. We only store an encrypted blob, which we destroy on first read.
- End-to-end encryption (AES-256-GCM, WebCrypto)
- The decryption key is never sent to our servers
- No content is ever logged
- Destroyed after reading or expiry
